In an interview with ABC News’ Amy Robach which was primarily aimed at promoting her new memoir, Trump’s ex-wife, Ivana Trump says she is First Lady of America. She opened up in her new book titled ‘Raising Trump’. In the book she talked about her present relationship with Trump and says that she talks with Trump once or twice a month. She also claimed to have a direct line to the white house but says that she don’t like calling the white house direct to avoid causing a kind of conflict between Trump and his present wife, Melania Trump.
Ivana who is now 68-year-old referred to herself as the first wife of Trump and therefore, she is the ‘First Lady’. In her own words:
“I have the direct number to White House but I don’t really want to call him there because Melania is there and I don’t really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically the first Trump wife, OK! I’m the first lady, OK!
So, who is the real First Lady of the United States of America? Critics of Ivana say she is trying to draw attention to her new book so she can make a lot of money selling it.
She explained that she divorced Trump due to Trump’s extramarital affair. When they separated after his infamous affair with his soon-to-be second wife Marla Maples became public, Ivanka recalled telling Trump that “There can be only one chef in the kitchen.”
Ivana is the mother of President Trump’s three oldest children. During the interview, she said that after she and Donald Trump got divorced in 1992, she basically raised their three children – Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka on her own.
She said that she would not really feel good living in the White House because she likes her freedom. Apart from being negative about Trump, Ivanka also described him as a loving father. She said:

“He was a loving father, don’t get me wrong, and he was a good provider, but he was not the father which would take a stroll and go to the Central Park or go play to baseball with them or something.” “It was only until they were about 18-years-old that he could communicate with them, because he could start to talk business with them.”
